VietNamNet Bridge – Artisans have brought many unusual art works to the first Vietnam Fruit Festival, held in Tien Giang province, with dragons as the most popular subject.

The four fruit-made supernatural creatures.

The most special item was four supernatural creatures – dragon, unicorn, tortoise and phoenix – which stood at 4 meters high and 10 meters wide,constructed as a gift for Thang Long – Hanoi’s 1000^th anniversary.

Another dragon was over 100 meters long, made by over 40 graffiti artists from HCM City and Hue, another present for Hanoi’s millennial anniversary. Clouds at the dragon’s feet were left open for kids to draw.

Ten HCM City artisans created a dragon-shaped gate, including a major gate 7 meters by 16 meters and two sub-gates rising 4 meters high and standing 6 meters wide. A dragon of over 16 meters scrolled along the top of the gate.
