VietNamNet Bridge - An exhibition on ‘President Ho Chi Minh and International Relations’ is opened today at the Ho Chi Minh Museum. The display introduces around 200 photos and artifacts, many of which are made public for the first time, featuring the views of Ho Chi Minh on international solidarity, as well as his efforts to boost understanding and build friendship between the people of Vietnam and the world. Noteworthy is the collection of signed letters by Uncle Ho sent to people around the world and also letters from them to Uncle Ho, gifts from international friends sent to Uncle Ho and photos on President Ho during his visits to socialist countries and his receptions of international guests. In particular, the room in the house No 9, Compoint alley, Paris where President Ho lived and worked during the hard time has been reconstructed for the exhibition. The exhibition also introduces photos taken in recent years on the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and other nations, showing the Party’s policy to continue the international solidarity set out by President Ho. The exhibition lasts until mid January 2008. (Source: Nhan Dan) |
