VietNamNet Bridge – Meritorious Artist and conductor Hoang Diep will hold her first live show entitled “Career Hallmarks” at 8pm, April 24-25 at HCM City Conservatory of Music. This is the first live performance by a female conductor in Vietnam.

The show celebrates Diep’s 50^th birthday and her 30 years as a conductor and 20 years as a music instructor.

During the performance, the conductor will present over 20 scholarships to poor students at the HCM City Conservatory of Music.

The concert will gather over 100 artists who graduated from conservatories of music in Vietnam, like People’s Artist Tran Hieu, singers Thu Giang, Nam Khanh, Ngoc Tuyen, Viet Thanh, instrumentalist Anh Tuan and the rock band “Unlimited.”

The four separate parts of the concert will reflect the four stages of her career.

Diep is the only female conductor in Vietnam at present.
