The event is being co-sponsored by the organising board of the Busan International Film Festival, the HCM City People’s Committee, BHD Company and Diamond Cinema.

The eight films brought to Vietnam this time not only have attracted large audiences in Korea in 2006 and 2007 but also American viewers, for example 200 Pound Beauty, April Snow, The Host, Duelist, I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK, Beautiful Days.

The leading actresses and actors in these films are movie stars of Korea, including Bae Yong Joon, Kim Ah Joong, and Bi-Rain.

These films have also won many prizes in Korea and abroad.
