VietNamNet Bridge - A unique sculpture exhibition opened in London's central Royal Opera Arcade displaying the devastating legacy of unexploded weapons from the wars in countries like Vietnam and Angola.

The “Fragments” show is a collection of 20 life-size bronze sculptures by Canadian artist Blake. The broken bodies tell the tragedy of war, but also man’s enduring instinct for survival.

The Vietnam War ended in 1975, yet it's legacy remains as many people in Vietnam still suffer the consequences, Blake told a Vietnam News Agency reporter at the opening of the show.

Earnings from Blake’s entire collection of Fragments sculptures, estimated at 1.2 million pounds, will be donated to the No More Landmines Trust organisation to finance its projects on landmines clearance and support victims of unexploded ordnance in Vietnam, Cambodia, Angola and other parts of the world.

The Fragments series will be shown at the Royal Opera Arcade until November 17.
